MEDIUM: The new Med insert is the same as the previous Mid/High option we have been selling for the 125 for several years in the previous large base design. Med compression is suited to high level MX where the engine is revved hard. It is higher comp than stock.
HIGH: The new High insert is slightly higher comp than the Med insert. It makes more power everywhere and is suited to trail riding, offroad racing and intermediate MX at sea level. It can be used for high level MX at altitude above 1000m. When used in the X model it is strongly suggested to swap to the MX model powervalve govenor spring (Yamaha p/n 90501-300A0) for improved midrange power.
